“5th Yıldız Cinema Festival – Short Film Selection” took place from May 6 to 10, 2024, across several venues including Kadıköy Cinema, Grand Pera Cinema, and Yıldız Technical University Davutpaşa Campus. The festival was organized by the Yıldız Technical University Cinema Club, celebrating the art of filmmaking and providing a platform for young filmmakers to showcase their works.
The event featured screenings of short films, panel discussions, and talks with directors, writers, and actors such as Melisa Önel, Şerif Erol, and Murat Meriç. The festival also included an open-air screening of My Neighbor Totoro, fostering a community atmosphere through cinema and culture.
