To further strengthen its scientific productivity and research capacity, Yıldız Technical University has launched a comprehensive institutional transformation initiative. As part of this strategic effort, 40 new interdisciplinary research groups have been established, bringing together expertise from diverse academic fields to foster collaborative and innovative research. The university has also significantly expanded its support for scientific research by increasing the budget allocated to the Scientific Research Projects (BAP) Program by up to 100%. This enhanced funding framework has enabled additional financial support for innovative undergraduate and graduate research projects, particularly those conducted under the TÜBİTAK 2209-A and 2209-B Programs, thereby encouraging the development of future researchers and innovators. To improve efficiency, transparency, and accessibility in research administration, all R&D management processes have been digitalized, and project application and evaluation procedures have been transferred to integrated electronic platforms.
