YTU’s Racing Team was hosted at SPEEDOL | Koçak Petrol’s R&D and Production Facilities in Gebze as part of their preparations for the 2025 racing season. During the visit, discussions were held on product development and the testing of high-performance oils in racing environments, leading to a formal cooperation agreement between the team and the company.
This collaboration not only strengthens the technical development of student engineers but also builds bridges between academia and industry. The upcoming visit of SPEEDOL’s management to YTU Racing’s garage was also planned, further deepening the partnership.
This activity demonstrates YTU’s contributions to SDG 4 (Quality Education) through experiential learning, SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by fostering advancements in automotive engineering and lubrication technologies, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through robust university–industry collaboration.
