On May 15, 2024, YTU’s Department of Geomatics Engineering hosted a distinguished lecture by Fabio Remondino, Head of the 3D Optical Metrology Unit at Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Italy. The session, titled “Towards Photogrammetric AI”, brought together students, researchers, and faculty members to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and photogrammetry.
As one of the world’s leading experts in the field, Remondino shared insights into cutting-edge applications of AI in spatial data analysis, 3D reconstruction, and digital mapping. The event not only advanced participants’ understanding of emerging technologies but also emphasized the importance of international academic exchange and collaboration.
