AI-Assisted Food Safety

The Hipolens Team, consisting of students from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, won First Prize in Türkiye in the Artificial Intelligence category at Türkiye Innovation Week 2025. Using hyperspectral imaging technology, the project enables real-time detection of food spoilage, moisture content, and food fraud risks. By integrating artificial intelligence with food safety applications, the innovation offers a transformative digital solution for quality control and food monitoring systems.
