A large-scale cooperation protocol was signed between Yıldız Technical University and Bağcılar Municipality, encompassing education, research, culture, and community development. Approved by Rector Prof. Dr. Eyüp Debik and Bağcılar Mayor Yasin Yıldız, this agreement combined the university's academic knowledge with the applied capacity of local government. Under the protocol: support for scientific research, expansion of internship and application areas for students, and realisation of entrepreneurship and innovation-based projects are targeted. Training programmes to be organised under YTÜ SEM coordination and studies on Bağcılar's cultural heritage will also enable academic knowledge to be converted into community benefit. This strategic step also encompasses national and international project cooperation
