BAK-DES Project: Home Healthcare Support Training Portal

Yıldız Technical University has undertaken the technological infrastructure development of the Home Healthcare Support Training Portal (BAK-DES), a project designed to address the challenges associated with an aging population and the management of chronic diseases. Supported by the Turkish Health Institutes Presidency (TÜSEB) and implemented through a multi-stakeholder consortium, the project aims to enhance the quality of home healthcare services and align them with national standards. Through its digital training platform, BAK-DES seeks to improve the competencies of caregivers and healthcare support personnel, thereby contributing to more effective, accessible, and sustainable healthcare services.
