“Beauty is Youth” Festival and “Different Perspectives” Exhibition

The “Beauty is Youth Festival”, organised in collaboration with Yıldız Technical University and Fatih Municipality, opened its doors at the historic Davutpaşa Madrasa as of 20 May. Pioneered by YTU TAMİR and SATPARK, the festival brings together the aesthetic richness of Turkish-Islamic arts with a modern vision through the 'Different Perspectives Exhibition' of original works by graduate students. At the opening, attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Eyüp Debik and Fatih Mayor Mehmet Ergün Turan, the importance of blending the imagination of youth with cultural heritage was emphasised. The festival programme, continuing until 30 May, includes, alongside the exhibition, discussions with expert academics and interactive areas for young artists.
