The Career Map 7 event, jointly organized by the YTU Data Science Community and the Department of Statistics, connected current students with YTU alumni now working in top companies across data analytics, software engineering, and business intelligence. The event aimed to bridge academic education with real-world applications, empowering participants to explore diverse career paths shaped by data-driven decision-making.
Throughout the session, guest speakers shared their transition journeys from university to industry, offered insights into emerging trends in data science, and provided guidance on the skills, mindset, and strategies needed to succeed in evolving data and technology-driven roles. Students also had the opportunity to ask questions directly, engaging in valuable dialogues about interdisciplinary collaboration and career planning.
