Collaboration within the “Bilim Vatan” Initiative

To enhance the visibility and societal impact of scientific knowledge produced at universities, the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) established a Science Communication Office. As an active supporter of this national initiative, Yıldız Technical University contributes to the “Bilim Vatan” platform, which aims to strengthen academic mentorship networks by connecting Turkish scholars working abroad with young researchers in Türkiye. The initiative seeks to foster stronger interaction among researchers, media organizations, policymakers, and society while promoting the dissemination of scientific knowledge through digital communication channels. It also supports the international visibility of university research outputs, expands global research networks, and contributes to a stronger representation of Turkish science within the international academic community.
