"Collaborative Tree Planting Initiative Highlights YTU’s Commitment to Sustainability"

On 11 November 2024, YTU collaborated with the General Directorate of Forestry (OGM) to celebrate National Afforestation Day through a large-scale tree planting initiative in Uskumruköy, Sarıyer, Istanbul. The event engaged students, faculty, and volunteers in planting saplings, thereby contributing to reforestation efforts and raising awareness about the importance of protecting natural ecosystems. This initiative strengthened environmental responsibility among participants while supporting climate change mitigation and the promotion of sustainable land use practices.
