YTU’s Geoinformatics Club organized the İHA-1 Commercial Drone Pilot Training Program, led by Prof. Dr. Burak Akpınar, equipping students with certified skills in one of the fastest-growing technology sectors. The program provided participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical training on unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems, preparing them for professional certification and future career opportunities. By integrating advanced digital tools into education, the initiative enhanced students’ technical competencies, fostered innovation across disciplines, and strengthened the link between higher education and emerging industry needs.
