YTU hosted “Digital Gaming Days Reborn,” a three-day event (19–21 March) that brought together students, developers, and industry representatives around the rapidly growing field of digital games and interactive technologies.
The program featured tournaments, workshops, and talks from leading professionals, including Sebahattin Akay (Roko Game Studios), Ersoy Balkış (Hit and Boom), Mustafa Egemen (CREW Medya), and Furkan Necati Ürkmez (Funverse Games) who shared insights into MMORPG development, game design challenges, and teamwork in the creative industries. Alongside competitive sessions such as League of Legends, Valorant, and Rocket League tournaments, the event also provided interactive experiences including VR gaming, motion capture, and indie game showcases.
Through this diverse program, the initiative not only fostered creativity, collaboration, and entrepreneurial thinking among students but also created an accessible platform to explore the academic, cultural, and economic dimensions of the gaming industry.
