Digital Transformation in Healthcare

YTU participated as a key partner in the “Digital Transformation in Healthcare” event hosted by Marmara University at the Dragos Campus on 3 April 2024. The event was jointly organized with Istanbul University–Cerrahpaşa and the biotechnology company Sabiotek.

Key speakers included Prof. Dr. Kazım Yalçın Arga (Marmara University, Biomedical Engineering), Prof. Dr. Müjdat Soytürk (Marmara University, Computer Engineering), Prof. Dr. Ela Tarakcı (Istanbul University–Cerrahpaşa, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation), and Prof. Dr. Songül Varlı (Deputy President, TÜSEB – Turkish Health Institutes).

The program aimed to highlight how digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and bioinformatics are reshaping healthcare systems, diagnostics, and rehabilitation practices. It brought together experts from biomedical engineering, computer science, physiotherapy, and public health to discuss innovative applications and future directions in healthcare digitalization.
