Disaster Awareness Summit ’24 – Rebirth After February 6”, an “Earthquake Simulation Workshop”

As part of the “Disaster Awareness Summit ’24 – Rebirth After February 6”, an “Earthquake Simulation Workshop” was organized on 25 April 2024 in collaboration with AFAD. The training utilized AFAD’s earthquake simulation vehicle, allowing participants to experience realistic earthquake scenarios and practice essential safety techniques such as “Drop, Cover, and Hold On.” The workshop provided an interactive and practical environment to increase disaster preparedness and awareness among students and participants.

This activity underscores YTU’s commitment to advancing earthquake awareness, strengthening practical disaster preparedness skills, and collaborating with national institutions to enhance community resilience.
