E-Commerce 101: Building a Digital Store

Organized by KVK Academy under the “Academia of Efficiency in Finance & Stock Market” series of the YTU Career and Personal Development Club (KVK), the “E-Commerce 101: Building a Digital Store from Scratch” event was held to introduce students to digital entrepreneurship and e-commerce. The program took place on January 6 at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Conference Hall and featured Kerem Kaya, Seyhun Özkara, and Fatih Çalışkan, co-founders of Ideasoft, one of Türkiye’s leading e-commerce infrastructure providers, as guest speakers. Throughout the event, participants gained insights into the fundamentals of e-commerce, the process of establishing and managing a digital store, and key strategies for succeeding in online business. The sessions also explored the future of digital commerce, effective sales strategies, and entrepreneurial opportunities in the digital economy, providing aspiring entrepreneurs with a practical roadmap for launching their own ventures.
