Yıldız Technical University hosted a training session titled “Living with Disasters: Management of Emergencies” as part of its Disaster and Emergency Community’s educational series. The event provided students and participants with knowledge and practical insights into emergency preparedness, disaster risk reduction, and effective response mechanisms. Delivered by GEA Search and Rescue Coordinator Umut Dinçşahin, the training emphasized community resilience, coordination during emergencies, and the importance of preparedness in reducing the impact of disasters.
