YTU CIGRE Club organized a technical site visit to a wind power plant in Geyve, Sakarya, hosted by Eksim Enerji. As one of Türkiye’s leading companies in the energy sector, Eksim Enerji shared insights into its projects on renewable energy, including wind, hydroelectric, solar, and biomass.
The visit allowed students to observe clean energy technologies on-site and gain a deeper understanding of sustainable energy production. By combining theoretical learning with practical exposure, the activity enhanced student awareness of renewable energy systems and their role in ensuring national energy security.
