Erasmus+ KA220-HED: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Early Childhood Education

The project “SMARTSTART – Innovative Approaches with Machine Learning in Early Childhood Education,” coordinated by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sami Topçu from the Department of Mathematics and Science Education, has been selected for funding under the Erasmus+ KA220-HED (Higher Education Cooperation Partnerships) call. The project aims to equip pre-service early childhood educators with competencies in artificial intelligence and machine learning, while developing an inclusive and innovative teaching model that integrates emerging digital technologies into teacher education. Through international collaboration, the project seeks to promote the adoption of these innovative approaches across educational systems in Europe and contribute to the digital transformation of teacher training programs.
