"Fkare ’24: What If We’re Wrong?" was held on April 25–27, 2024, at Yıldız Technical University’s Davutpaşa Campus. Organized by the YTU Photography Club (YTÜFOK), the festival aimed to highlight the artistic and emotional depth of photography while fostering dialogue, creativity, and cultural exchange among participants.
Since its inception in 2011, Fkare has been recognized as Turkey’s first university-based photography festival, blending amateur spirit with professional artistry. 2024's theme, “What If We’re Wrong?”, encouraged participants to rethink visual perception, challenge assumptions, and explore photography as both an art form and a medium for critical reflection.
The three-day event featured workshops, talks, and exhibitions that brought together artists, academics, and students to engage in shared learning and creative exploration.
