Yıldız Technical University hosted the first level of the “Forest Firefighting Volunteers Training,” delivered in collaboration with the General Directorate of Forestry. The training aimed to strengthen volunteer capacity in preventing and managing forest fires, enhance awareness of disaster preparedness, and build resilience against climate-related hazards. Participants who successfully completed the first stage became eligible for certification and progression to the second level of training.
This activity demonstrates YTU’s strong commitment to disaster preparedness, environmental sustainability, and the promotion of resilient communities.
