YTU collaborates with industry partners to develop innovative technologies that contribute to the protection and sustainable use of marine ecosystems. One prominent example is Lenta Marine, a start-up operating within YTU Technopark and supported by the YTU Innovation Hub.
Lenta Marine specializes in underwater robotics, engineering systems, and marine equipment designed to enhance environmental monitoring, underwater imaging, and pipeline inspection in aquatic environments such as dams, hydroelectric plants, and coastal zones. These technologies play a crucial role in maintaining underwater biodiversity, preventing ecological degradation, and improving resource efficiency in marine and freshwater systems.
Through this collaboration, YTU demonstrates its institutional commitment to fostering sustainable marine innovation, strengthening the link between research, entrepreneurship, and ecosystem preservation.
