From January 4 to 9, 2024, the YTU Faculty of Art and Design hosted a classical arts exhibition titled “From Tradition to the Future”, curated by Behlül Berk Sağlam. Held at the university’s Historical Water Cistern, the exhibition brought together seven artists: Gülizar Çevik, Merve Özen, Seçil Özyıldırım, Şaduman Gemici, Yeşim Karamık Jandar, and Zuhal Tepeyurt.
The exhibition aimed to explore the interplay between tradition and contemporary expression in the field of classical arts. Visitors had the opportunity to engage with works that reflect deep-rooted artistic heritage.
The exhibition served as a cultural and educational platform, contributing to the appreciation of classical art forms within a modern academic setting.
