The Biyogen Genetic Diseases Team within YTU BİYOGEN won a bronze medal at the international genetic engineering competition GOGEC, achieving an important success. The team, offering an innovative solution for Huntington's disease, developed an original project based on the HspB5 chaperone protein to reduce protein aggregation observed during the disease process. Confirming their technical competency in molecular biology and genetics through this achievement, the team proudly represented their university on the international platform with their scientific approach to the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
