The Health and Life Sciences Student Congress, held on 1–2 March 2024 at Erciyes University Cultural Center (EKM), brought together leading figures from academia and research institutions across Türkiye and abroad. The event aimed to inspire young scientists and promote interdisciplinary collaboration in the fields of health, biotechnology, and life sciences.
Distinguished speakers included Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar (University of North Carolina, Nobel Laureate), Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal (President of TÜBİTAK), Prof. Dr. Cem Bülent Üstündağ (Yıldız Technical University), Prof. Dr. Sabatino Maione (University of Campania), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ferdinando Chiaradonna (University of Milano-Bicocca), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Roger Junges (University of Oslo), among others.
The congress provided a unique platform for students to engage with internationally recognized scientists, explore emerging topics in health and life sciences, and gain insights into innovation-driven research and sustainable scientific practices. It also strengthened inter-university collaboration at both national and global levels.
