Hungarian Designs in Türkiye
As part of the 2024 Hungarian–Turkish Year of Culture, the exhibition titled “Hungarian Designs in Turkey” was jointly organized by the YTU Faculty of Architecture Dean’s Office, YTU Student Dean’s Office, and the Istanbul Hungarian Cultural Center.
Hosted at YTU Beşiktaş Campus, Faculty of Architecture, Dean’s Corridor, the exhibition was open to visitors from April 26 to May 3, 2024, starting with its opening ceremony at 13:30 on April 26.
The exhibition presented a unique selection of architectural projects by Hungarian architects in Turkey, spanning from the late Ottoman period to the early years of the Republic. It shed light on both realized and unbuilt works, emphasizing the mutual cultural and architectural exchange between the two nations.
