Within the technical visit organised by the YTU Geoinformatics Club, the İBB Tech Istanbul Şişhane centre was visited on 23 May 2026. At the event where Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's innovative projects in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) were examined on-site, detailed presentations were made on the processing of urban data and technology integration. Advanced technology topics including remote sensing, three-dimensional modelling, spatial data analysis, and GIS-based AI applications were addressed within the programme.
