ICORESS-2025: Surface Texture Analysis of a Group of Objects Using RTI

Members of the YTU Conservation and Restoration Club (KOREK) continued to present their scientific research at the IV International Conservation and Restoration Students Symposium (ICORESS-2025), organized by Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. As part of the symposium program, club members Tutku Altıntarla and Dilara Akcan delivered their joint presentation entitled “Surface Texture Analysis of a Group of Objects Using RTI.” In their study, the researchers shared the findings and object analyses obtained through Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI), an innovative digital imaging technique widely used in the documentation and examination of cultural heritage objects. By demonstrating the application of RTI in surface texture analysis, the presentation provided a valuable example of the integration of advanced documentation technologies into conservation and restoration practices.
