Dr. Serhat Bahadır Kert, a faculty member at Yıldız Technical University Faculty of Education, aims to enhance the IT expertise of visually impaired students through his project titled “Improving Artificial Intelligence (AI) Skill of Visually Impaired Students: SenseCode-AI”, supported by the British Council Program. The project focuses on equipping visually impaired students with skills in the field of artificial intelligence and developing a specialized instructional design tailored to their needs. In collaboration with the Computer Science Education Research Group at Yıldız Technical University and experts from the University of Central Lancashire, tools will be developed to teach artificial intelligence to visually impaired children.
