Prof. Dr. Metin Gençten, a faculty member at Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering, aims to enhance the performance of gel-type lead-acid batteries through his project titled “Increasing the Performance of Gel Type Lead Acid Batteries with Conductive Polymers-Graphite Composites”, supported by the TÜBİTAK-2515 European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) Program. This significant project marks a first in the literature by using composite structures made of conductive polymers and graphite as additives to the gel component.
