Technical Talk was held to deepen students’ understanding of simulation technologies and embedded system applications, essential areas in both academic research and industrial innovation. Delivered by Burak Ali Arslan from FIGES A.Ş., Türkiye’s official representative of ANSYS and MATLAB, the session explored real-world engineering applications and multidisciplinary integration of simulation-based design and embedded systems.
The event emphasized the intersection of theoretical engineering education with practical simulation tools, providing insights into model-based design, system optimization, and embedded control strategies. The speaker also shared professional experiences from ongoing R&D collaborations under the “Sektör Kampüste” program at Yıldız Technical University.
Participants gained hands-on knowledge of MATLAB simulation environments and embedded engineering workflows, enhancing their technical readiness for defence and industrial automation projects. The talk fostered the development of problem-solving, analytical thinking, and digital engineering skills among students, bridging academic learning with real engineering practice.
