Istanbul Commerce University Cooperation Protocol

YTU and Istanbul Commerce University signed a comprehensive cooperation protocol aimed at combining their academic and scientific research capacities. Signed by YTU Rector Prof. Dr. Eyüp Debik and Istanbul Commerce University Rector Prof. Dr. Necip Şimşek on 17 July 2025, this strategic partnership makes the R&D infrastructures and academic knowledge of both institutions available for joint objectives. Applications under the protocol include: joint project applications based on co-financing through BAP units; mutual opening of laboratory, testing, and research infrastructures to academics and researchers; co-supervision of graduate theses, joint academic publications, and scholarship student support; and preparation of joint project files for national and international funding mechanisms including TÜBİTAK and the European Union.
