YTU Yıldız Technology Transfer Office conducted a strategic visit to Komagene, one of Türkiye’s leading food industry brands. During the meeting with representatives from the company’s R&D, production and procurement departments, the university’s patent portfolio was introduced and the strategic importance of intellectual property rights was discussed. A key focus of the visit was the potential integration of patents and utility models developed by Associate Professor Hasan Cankurt into Komagene’s production processes. The meeting also explored future R&D initiatives and academic–industry collaboration opportunities in food technologies, contributing to the transformation of academic knowledge into economic value.
