MAAP Visit: Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (Philippines)

The YTU Faculty of Naval Architecture and Maritime hosted Prof. Dr. Angelica Baylon, International Relations Coordinator of the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) in the Philippines, and Rowena Tuzcuoğlu, International Relations Coordinator of Sefine Shipyard, at Davutpaşa Campus. Strategic cooperation opportunities, including a planned Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Erasmus exchange programmes, were comprehensively discussed. Targeting the strengthening of the international dimension of university-industry cooperation, this visit constituted an important step towards building a global network in maritime education.
