Mimarlık Fakültesi TÜBİTAK 2209-A Başarısı

The Faculty of Architecture at Yıldız Technical University achieved a significant success within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A Undergraduate Students Research Projects Support Program. Under the academic supervision of seven faculty members, a total of nine project proposals prepared by 20 students were awarded support. The supported projects are as follows: Investigation of the Effects of Street Art Produced in Public Open Spaces in the Karaköy Kemeraltı Area on Users’ Perception of Place: Huriye Nur Aksoy (Project Coordinator) and Research Assistant Ömür Kararmaz. Performance Evaluation of Perforated Shading Elements through Archival Research, On-Site Investigation, and Field Studies: Elif Çağla Başdoğan (Project Coordinator), Aylin Yalnız, Yağmur Haydaroğlu, Doğa Öngener, and Research Assistant Fatma Zoroğlu. Evaluation of Design and Occupancy Phases in Urban Transformation Projects: The Case of Fikirtepe, Istanbul: Elif İlgin (Project Coordinator), Sidal Yılmaz, Hilal Doğan, Didem Arman, and Research Assistant Ahmet Bircan Atmaca. Recommendations for Achieving Required Daylight Illuminance in Classrooms with Different External Obstruction Conditions: The Case of YTU Faculty of Architecture: Berat Aslangiri (Project Coordinator) and Associate Professor Şensin Yağmur. Evaluation of Energy Efficiency in Lighting Design of Spaces with Different Functions: Ece Altun (Project Coordinator) and Associate Professor Şensin Yağmur. Evaluation of the Usability of Residential-IST, a Web-Based Decision Support Tool Developed for Performance-Oriented Residential Building Design and Improvement: Nursena Demir (Project Coordinator), Candan Şilit, Hilal Yazıcı, Yaren Al, and Associate Professor Suzi Dilara Mangan.
