Mother Nature Camp Held at YTU on March 9–10, 2024
The “Doğa Ana Kampı” (Mother Nature Camp), organized by the YTU Nature and Outdoor Sports Club (YTÜGEKA), was held on March 9–10, 2024, in Şile, in celebration of International Women’s Day.
This all-women camping event aimed to empower female students by fostering solidarity, self-reliance, and confidence in nature. Participants engaged in outdoor activities such as setting up tents, cooking, and campfire gatherings, creating a safe and supportive environment for women to challenge stereotypes and enjoy nature together.
