Open-Air Ebru Workshop at YTU Davutpaşa Campus
On May 9, 2024, the YTU Traditional Arts Club (GESK) organized an open-air Ebru (Turkish marbling) workshop titled “Ebru Time” in the Central Garden of Yıldız Technical University’s Davutpaşa Campus. Participants from various departments came together to experience and practice this centuries-old art form in a relaxed and creative outdoor setting.
The event aimed to enhance cultural appreciation and offer a space for mindful artistic expression. Students had the opportunity to create their own marbling patterns, learn about traditional techniques, and take personalized art pieces as mementos.
The workshop not only introduced participants to the cultural heritage of Turkish marbling but also contributed to well-being and campus engagement through art and nature.
