Panel: “Stages of Educational Development in Azerbaijan and Its Relations with Turkish Education”
On May 15, 2024, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Yıldız Technical University hosted an international panel featuring Prof. Dr. Misir Mardanov, former Minister of Education of Azerbaijan and current senior member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
Moderated by Prof. Dr. Salim Yüce, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the panel addressed:
- The historical and modern evolution of education in Azerbaijan
- Structural and curricular comparisons with the Turkish education system
- Shared cultural and educational values within the Turkic world
- Opportunities for cooperation in higher education and research.
