YTU students who dominated the 'Reaching and Accessible Turkey 2053 Inter-University Ideas Competition' organised by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, standing out among 62 universities, won awards in four categories, including two first places. At the ceremony on 15 April 2025: Tunahan Delisalihoğlu achieved first place with his 'Autonomous Drone Communication Network' project; Mustafa Sürmeli with his 'SİRTA' rail system project; while 'The City's Voice' and 'Cerbe UUV' projects also placed in other categories.
