YTU Library and Documentation Department provided access to Scite, an artificial intelligence-powered platform developed to analyze the reliability and citation networks of academic publications. Available until 24 November 2025, the platform assists researchers in validating the credibility of sources during literature review processes. Through its “Smart Citations” feature, Scite goes beyond traditional citation counts by indicating whether a publication has been supported, disputed, or merely mentioned by subsequent studies. The platform analyzes more than 1.2 billion citation statements and offers tools including data visualization, automated reference checking, and research reporting.
