Under the EU-funded Horizon Europe Project “SHORE,” coordinated by Yıldız Technical University, 100 primary and secondary schools are receiving €10,000 grants to develop an innovative “Blue Curriculum.” This curriculum promotes intercultural ocean literacy and sustainability education. The initiative empowers young learners to appreciate and protect marine and freshwater ecosystems, fostering responsible citizenship and supporting the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 14 (Life Below Water).
