YTU achieved remarkable success at the 10th International Invention Fair (ISIF 2025), receiving a total of nine awards, including one Special Award, one Gold Medal, two Silver Medals, and five Bronze Medals. This achievement was made possible through the collaboration of YTU Yıldız Technology Transfer Office, which supports the commercialization of academic projects, and YTU Yıldız Technopark, which manages the university’s entrepreneurship ecosystem. The university was awarded the prestigious TÜRKPATENT Best Academic Invention Special Award, presented by Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır and TÜRKPATENT President Prof. Dr. M. Zeki Durak. The award-winning invention, “Autonomous Tumor Prosthesis Control and Extension System,” developed by Prof. Dr. Erhan Akdoğan and Dr. Sıtkı Kocaoğlu, is protected by international patents in Türkiye, Europe, and China.
