Success of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in the TÜBİTAK 2209-A Program

The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Yıldız Technical University achieved remarkable success under the 2024 First-Term Call of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A Undergraduate Students Research Projects Support Program. Projects prepared by 18 students under the supervision of 10 faculty members were selected for funding. Some of the supported projects include: Technology and Innovation: Examining the relationship between LinkedIn engagement and digital reputation scores of technology- and innovation-oriented company leaders through Turkish and global CEOs (Eren Çöp, Kaan Kırkoyun; Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Emel Esen). Artificial Intelligence and Education: Analysis of the impact of artificial intelligence anxiety on students’ academic motivation (Merve Yıldız, Melisa Zelal Keleş; Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Serdar Bozkurt). Energy and Economics: A bibliometric analysis of energy economics (Berra Nur Yeşil; Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Sema Yılmaz). Corporate Reputation: The impact of brand communication strategies used in corporate greenwashing and greenhushing practices on corporate reputation (Fikret Efe Borucu; Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Emel Esen). Social Research: Investigation of the challenges faced by women affected by the February 6 earthquakes during disaster situations (Esma Taştan, Selbi Rozbeyeva; Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Conker).
