Success of the Faculty of Naval Architecture and Maritime Affairs in the TÜBİTAK 2209-A Program

A research project prepared within the Faculty of Naval Architecture and Maritime Affairs at Yıldız Technical University, under the academic supervision of Assistant Professor Serdar Turgut İnce and coordinated by Ahmet Emre Yüksel, has been selected for funding under the 2024 First-Term Call of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A Undergraduate Students Research Projects Support Program. Entitled “Optimization and Strength Analysis of the Hydrofoil Support Structure (Strut) for the Solar-Powered Hydrofoil Boat of the Solar Boat Team”, the project also involves Taha Kızıl and Abdullah Baysal as researchers. The study focuses on sustainable energy applications in maritime transportation and high-performance structural design.
