Yıldız Technical University participated in the inaugural TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland event with advanced unmanned marine vehicle technologies developed within the university ecosystem. Projects developed by the IEEE CASMarine, Yıldız Solar Boat, and Derin Mavi teams showcased innovative approaches in autonomous systems and sustainable energy solutions for maritime applications. YTU Rector Prof. Dr. Eyüp Debik, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yılmaz, and Chief Advisor to the Rector Prof. Dr. Özer Çınar visited the competition area and examined the technical projects contributing to the vision of protecting national rights and interests at sea. The eighteen awards won by the university throughout TEKNOFEST 2025 further demonstrated the strength of YTU’s technology and innovation ecosystem.
