Held annually since 2013 as a tradition of Yıldız Technical University, the 11th edition of ‘İlk Baretim’ took place on 7–8 November 2024 at Davutpaşa Congress and Cultural Center. The program brought together engineers, architects, planners, academics, and entrepreneurs for career sessions, workshops, technical visits, and the symbolic helmet ceremony that marks students’ first step into the construction sector. The program aimed to integrate academic learning with industry experience and the initiative contributed to quality education, supported innovation in engineering, and strengthened partnerships with professional stakeholders.
