The technical visit to Gedik Yatırım, organized on 5 March 2024 by Yıldız Technical University’s Economics Club, provided students with direct exposure to the operations of one of Türkiye’s leading brokerage and investment firms. Through presentations and discussions with sector professionals, participants gained insights into financial markets, investment strategies, and corporate practices.
This activity contributes to SDG 4 (Quality Education) by strengthening experiential learning in finance, and to SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by equipping students with practical skills and knowledge relevant to their future careers. The collaboration also supports SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), reinforcing links between higher education and the private sector to expand opportunities for youth engagement and career development.
