The SHORE project aims to advance ocean literacy and sustainable water stewardship by achieving six key objectives throughout its duration. First, it seeks to empower youth to become proactive agents of change in marine and water conservation. Second, it plans to expand the network of European Blue Schools to foster wider engagement and knowledge sharing. Third, SHORE promotes the EU’s Mission Ocean objectives to align with broader environmental goals. Fourth, it supports the adoption of open schooling methodologies to enhance inclusive and collaborative learning. Fifth, the project aims to implement the blue curricula on an international scale, ensuring consistent and effective education on ocean and water topics. Finally, SHORE provides specialized training for professional educators to equip them with the skills necessary for delivering impactful blue education.
