Yıldız Technical University achieved a historic milestone by ranking among the top three universities in Türkiye in the TÜBİTAK 2024 Entrepreneurial and Innovative University Index, with a score of 76.69. Rising two positions compared to the previous year, the university ranked first in Türkiye in the “Economic and Social Contribution” category with a score of 31.69, a category that evaluates the commercialization of knowledge and its transformation into societal value and economic impact. Yıldız Technical University also advanced to second place nationwide in terms of both the number of licensed patents and international patent applications, further reinforcing its leadership in innovation, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship.
