TÜBA-GEBİP Outstanding Young Scientist Award

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emrah Şefik Abamor, a faculty member in the Department of Bioengineering at Yıldız Technical University, has been awarded the prestigious TÜBA-GEBİP Outstanding Young Scientist Award by the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) in recognition of his pioneering contributions to the field of health biotechnology. Focusing on next-generation approaches for the treatment of infectious diseases and cancer, Dr. Abamor has made significant contributions to the international scientific community through his research on biofunctional nanoparticle production, innovative vaccine platforms, and targeted nanotherapeutic systems. His work advances the development of novel biomedical technologies with the potential to improve disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
